Kinetic wood art
Everyone leans in the first time it moves
From across the room it looks like a beautiful wooden sculpture, and then you touch the base and the wings begin to rise and fall in a slow, steady rhythm that makes every guest stop, come closer and ask the same question — wait, is that really wood?
A slow ocean moment, right on your desk
Carved from beech and black walnut and set on a solid wooden base, Raya moves through a quiet chain of wooden linkages that turns a simple mechanism into something that feels alive, so each wingbeat glides like a manta drifting through open water
There is no screen and no app, just a few minutes of calm motion between emails or at the end of a long day, the kind of thing you switch on for a moment and then find yourself watching far longer than you planned
Real wood, shaped piece by piece
Every Raya starts as solid beech and black walnut, cut and shaped into the wing panels, linkages and base that fit together so precisely the motion feels alive, from the first rough block of wood to the final smooth finish you feel under your fingers
Because no two pieces of wood share the same grain or tone, the manta that arrives at your door is a one-of-a-kind piece, slightly different from every other Raya in the world
Ready in minutes
Simple to set up, beautiful to watch
Attach the wings
A few wooden pieces fit together by hand, no tools or experience needed, and the whole manta is standing on its base in a couple of minutes
Charge it with USB-C
The 400 mAh battery charges with the cable that comes in the box, so there is no cord hanging from your shelf while it moves
Touch to start
One touch on the base sets the wings in motion and another touch rests them, with only a soft mechanical whisper while it glides
Where it lives
The piece people remember about your home
Your desk
A two-minute pause before the next meeting that actually clears your head
The bookshelf
Warm wood that blends with your books and surprises everyone when it starts to swim
The living room
The conversation piece guests ask about before they even sit down
The gift for someone who has everything
Finding something special for a husband, a dad or the ocean lover in your life gets harder every year, and that is exactly why Raya works — nobody already owns one, it looks like a collector's piece, and the moment they switch it on you get to watch their face change
Order by December 8 and it arrives in time to be the gift everyone talks about at Christmas

Questions
Good to know
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship to the United States in 10–15 days, and shipping is free on orders over $39, so for Christmas we recommend ordering by December 8
Does it make noise?
The wooden mechanism makes a soft, gentle sound while it moves, quiet enough for an office and just enough to feel the craft working
Is it fragile?
It is made of solid wood and designed to be switched on and enjoyed every day, so normal handling won't harm it, though it is a decorative piece and not a children's toy
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Every piece of wood has its own grain and tone, so yours will be slightly unique, which is a big part of its charm
What if I change my mind?
You have 60 days to return it for a refund, starting from the day it arrives
