What paper do I need?
Any standard A4 or US letter sheet works; regular 80–100 gsm printer paper is the sweet spot. Paper isn't included, because you almost certainly have a stack at home already.
Does it need a phone or an app?
No. It comes with its own two-stick remote: one stick for power, one for steering. Nothing to install, no phone involved.
Where can we fly it?
Anywhere with room to turn: a park, a field, a schoolyard or a gym. It's too fast for most living rooms. Two kits let two kids fly together, which is why most families pick the 2-pack.
What if it breaks, or we don't love it?
When it crashes, the paper takes the hit: fold a new plane and keep flying. If you're not happy for any reason, contact us within 60 days and we'll walk you through a return and refund.
How long does shipping take?
Orders arrive in 10–15 days with tracking. Buying it for Christmas? Order by December 8.
Watch Your Paper Plane Actually Climb
A paper plane usually lasts one throw: a short glide, then straight into the grass. With FoldPilot the throw is just the start. He folds his own plane, clips on the light power module, and the two propellers and the built-in gyro take over. A push on the stick and it climbs, banks and loops back toward him. It's the same sheet of paper, except now he's the pilot.
The Paper Takes the Hit
Remote control toys usually break where they land: a cracked wing, a bent nose, a part you can't find anywhere. FoldPilot flips that around. The body of the plane is paper, so the paper is what takes the crash, and the motor, propellers and remote stay safe. A crumpled plane goes in the recycling, a new one is folded in a minute, and the afternoon carries on.
Hand Him the Remote and Step Back
Plenty of "outdoor" toys still need your phone, and then he's looking at a screen again while you sort out the connection. FoldPilot has its own remote with two real sticks, power on one side and steering on the other, the same layout he knows from any game controller. No app, no phone, nothing to set up. For ages 8 and up.
Who it's for
Four people, one kit
Parents tired of screens, grandparents looking for the right gift, dads who grew up with RC, and homeschool families. Each has a different reason, and it works for all of them.
“By Tuesday the tablet always wins.”
Toys get boring because they're always the same. Here every new fold is a new plane, wider wings, a sharper nose, so there's always something to try next.
Screen-freeOutdoorsNew plane every fold“He plays with it twice and forgets it.”
Most presents are done by the end of the day. This one keeps going: a crash doesn't end the fun, it just means it's time to fold the next plane.
Gift-readyAges 8+Free display stand“The last drone broke in ten minutes.”
Cheap drones break because the part that matters hits the ground first. Here the paper hits first, and the motor, propellers and remote are kept out of harm's way.
Crash-friendlyTwin propellersGyro stabilizer“Every kit ends up in a drawer.”
One module, endless planes. Change a fold, fly it, see what happens. It turns the backyard into a small flight lab, and every experiment costs one sheet of paper.

How it works
Fold. Clip. Fly.
The crash happens to the paper, never to the motor.
Fold the airframe
Take any A4 or letter sheet (regular 80–100 gsm printer paper works best) and fold a dart, a glider or his own design. That paper is the part built to take the knocks.
Clip on the power module
The light frame holds two side propellers and a gyro that keeps the flight steady. Attach it to the plane as shown in the manual, and add the landing gear if he wants wheels.
Fly it on real sticks
Left stick for power, right stick for steering, just like a game controller. After a crash, fold a new plane, clip the module back on and he's flying again in about a minute.
Paper not included. Fly on calm days in open space; wind beats paper.
Your first afternoon
From box to backyard
What setting it up looks like, start to finish.
Charge it
Plug the battery in with the USB cable and fold the first plane while it charges.
Fold and clip
Attach the power module as the manual shows, with or without the landing gear.
First flights
Pick an open spot on a day with little wind and go easy on the power. The first flights are for learning the throttle.
Crash, refold, repeat
It will crash, and that's fine: take the module off, fold a new plane and send it back up.

The things people ask before they order
What paper do I need?
Any standard A4 or US letter sheet works; 80–100 gsm printer paper is the sweet spot. Paper isn't included in the box, because you almost certainly have a stack in the house already.
Does it need a phone or an app?
No. FoldPilot comes with its own dedicated two-stick remote: one stick for power, one for steering. There's no app to install and no phone involved.
Does it really fly, or just glide?
It flies. Twin propellers under remote throttle let it climb, turn and come back around, and a built-in gyro stabilizer steadies the wobble. It's still a paper plane, so it flies best on calm days; strong wind will push it around.
How hard is it to set up and fly?
Fold a plane, clip the power module on following the manual, charge the battery with the included USB cable, and you're ready. Expect a few practice flights to get a feel for the power stick. Rated for ages 8 and up; younger kids should fly with an adult.
